Lactose Intolerance Symptoms And Dairy Alternatives (Includes Recipe)

This recipe for homemade Coconut Almond Milk is delicious, nutritious, and very good for you! If you’re cutting out dairy, this homemade and easy milk is perfect for you.

I used dates in mine for a natural sweetener, but you can use raisins or Stevia. Plain almond milk in my opinion tastes like regular cow’s milk. If you’re looking for an option that’s practically indistinguishable in taste, almond milk is perfect.

Homemade Coconut Almond Milk Recipe:

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 can whole coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates or raisins or 1 teaspoon stevia
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon organic vanilla extract

  1. Place ingredients in blend and mix for 1 minute.
  2. Put in refrigerator.

Enjoy chilled.

If you’re experiencing lactose intolerance you are not alone and there are many healthy dairy alternatives when looking for other options besides milk. Almond milk, coconut milk, and even raw milk is a safe and healthy choice and each of them are beneficial and delicious.
