I’m a huge tea drinker! I often just pick up a box of green tea, but on the occasion I enjoy making my own. This is by far one of my favorite handmade tea to make for me and my family. It’s also great in the evening if you’re feeling a little run down from your day. With so many health benefits of ginseng this tea is a great pick me up and can even brighten your mood.
You can easily make this tea in just a few minutes, it’s definitely worth time time. Pick up some ginger and save your lemon peels so you can try this delicious tea recipe.
Ginseng Ginger Tea Recipe:
• 1/4 cup small pieces of dried american ginseng
• 1 cup dried ginger
• 1/4 cup dried lemon peel
• Honey, to taste
Add all the herbs together in a bowl and mix well.
Simmer 1/4 cup of the herbs per quart of water in a covered pan for 15 minutes. (do not boil)
Strain using a coffee filter and add honey to taste.
