Another recipe I found on ‘Heal With Food’ that sounds as delicious as my recipe to get rid of bloating is made with raspberries and bananas, although I prefer almond milk to rice milk, it sounds wonderful and I will have to try this one.
I love that both of these recipes to get rid of bloating are healthy and all natural remedies that taste delicious enough to drink them anytime, even if bloating is not an issue for you. You will love how creamy, filling and satisfying they are any time of day. I drink mine in the morning for breakfast and feel amazing all day with no bloating or embarrassing gas issues. 🙄
This dairy-free, gluten-free smoothie is literally bursting with vitamin B6 and potassium, both of which reduce excess water retention and bloating.
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 ripe banana, sliced and frozen
1 cup rice milk
1 Tbsp flax seed, freshly ground
Combine all ingredients in a Vitamix or another high-speed blender, and process until smooth.
Garnish as desired, and serve.
More things you can do to combat bloating are to include more fiber in your diet, drink more water, and eat slower. Taking the time to chew your food can really make a difference in how your food digests. If you don’t properly chew your food then your risks of bloating increase.
